• Preoperative & Sports Medicine Clinics Remain Fully Functional: Our sports medicine and spine preoperative clinics continue to operate at full capacity. Routine consultations, diagnostic evaluations, non-surgical therapies, and preoperative care will proceed without interruption.
• Personalized Guidance from Dr. Sielatycki: For patients requiring surgical intervention during this period, Dr. Sielatycki will personally direct and navigate your care to ensure a seamless transition.
• Full Operations Continue at CAO: This brief pause applies solely to the surgical spine program. All other services and specialty practices at Colorado Advanced Orthopedics remain unchanged and fully open to serve you. 

Purpose & Benefits of the Pause

Taking a deliberate, temporary pause allows our administrative and medical staff leadership to dedicate focused time to elevating our spine surgical services. During this 30-to-60-day period, PMC will complete a rigorous checklist of policies, protocols, and processes specifically tailored to the spine surgical program, including:

• Clinical Protocol Enhancements: Reviewing surgical care pathways to integrate the latest evidence-based practices.
• Specialized Clinical Team Training: Conducting advanced, specialized training for operating room staff, post surgical nurses, and support teams to align with new high-complexity spine protocols. 
• Safety & Workflow Optimization: Refining perioperative safety checks, equipment standards, and inter-departmental workflows to maximize patient outcomes.
• Benchmarking: Ensuring all administrative and clinical guidelines meet and exceed regulatory and industry benchmarks.
