Frequently Asked Questions

As you prepare for your appointment, we know that you will have some questions. Below, please find answers to some questions we frequently receive.

If you cannot find the answer you are looking for, please call us at 970-878-9752.

Are You Accepting New Patients?

Yes!

We are always accepting new patients. If you have questions about becoming a new patient, please feel free to call us at 970-878-9752. We will be more than happy to answer them and schedule your appointment.

Do I Need a Referral to be Patient?

This may depend on your insurance. We encourage you to check your insurance provider’s policy.

How Do I Request An Appointment

There are a couple of ways to schedule an appointment:

If you choose to fill out the form, we will call you back to schedule.

Do You Treat Out of State Patients?

We treat out-of-state patients like our team of specialists, and the results are world-renowned. We encourage out-of-state patients to come and visit first.

Providers prefer to do a physical examination, but we understand that is not always feasible. We can do telehealth visits but will need imaging and records. Unfortunately, we cannot always get imaging pushed from out-of-state facilities, so imaging will need to be sent and received prior to your appointment. If there is no imaging to review, then the Telehealth appointment will need to be pushed back until those images are received.

If you are out of state and would like to schedule a consultation, you may also call 970-898-9752 or fill out our scheduling form.

Do You Require Images for My First Appointment?

Any patient who has had imaging within 12 months is encouraged to bring imaging and reports. Patients coming for a second opinion with previous surgery or replacement are encouraged to bring their operative report or records as well.

Do You Provide Transportation?

We can help you coordinate transportation for your appointments and treatment at Colorado Advanced Orthopedics. Please call us directly at 970-878-9752 for more information.

Who Are Your Doctors and Specialties

We have many world-renowned orthopedic specialists who are all focused on helping you enjoy your favorite activities again. From board-certified surgeons to sports medicine, physical therapy, and more, we look forward to providing you with world-class care
