Work Experience

Dr. Daniel Ward is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Colorado Advanced Orthopedics and an attending physician at New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH). He also serves as a board member on several committees at NEBH, including:

  • Arthroplasty
  • Infection Control
  • Resident Selection
  • Otto E. AuFranc Fellowship Selection

In addition to his work in Meeker and at NEBH, Dr. ward holds an academic appointment as assistant clinical professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Dr. Ward is actively involved with orthopedic research on hip and knee implants. He has published and lectured on the subject. In addition, Dr. Ward has served as chairman of national orthopedic meetings and performed live surgery for instructional purposes. He is also a consultant in the field of surgical implant design.

Dr. Ward has been a board-certified member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons since 2004. He specializes in total joint replacement and revision surgery of the hip and knee.
