Dr. Daniel M. Ward is orthopedic surgeon at Colorado Advanced Orthopedic, Sports Medicine and Spine and an attending physician at New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH). Dr. Ward also serves as a board member on several committees at NEBH, including Arthroplasty, Infection Control, Resident Selection, and Otto E. AuFranc Fellowship Selection.

In addition to his work in Meeker and NEBH, Dr. Ward holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Dr. Ward is actively involved with clinical orthopedic research on hip and knee implants and has published and lectured on the subject. He has served as chairman of national orthopedic meetings and performed live surgery for instructional purposes. He is also a consultant in the field of surgical implant design.

Dr. Ward has been a Board Certified member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons since 2004. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he received an athletic scholarship for baseball. He received his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed both his internship and surgical residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He then went on to complete the Otto E. AuFranc Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital.

Dr. Ward specializes in total joint replacement and revision surgery of the hip and knee.
